The Welcome is the Warning is a 43-page collection of welcomes, reflections, and grounding activites created from real conversation held during moments of fear, uncertainty, grief, resistance, and community response.

These words invite us to look closer- at race, immigration, Black life, belonging, solidarity, history, and the systems shaping our communites. But this isn't simply something to read. Each welcome asks you to pause, reflect, witness, and consider what comes next.

Created for community members, organizers, educators, counselors, nonprofit leaders, facilitators, and anyone willing to stay present when conversations get difficult.
